The artwork is inspired by the song “Hope is a dangerous thing for me to have, but I have it” by Lana Del Rey. The song depicted the life of Sylvia Plath, a poet back in the 20th century, who had suffered from mental health issues, lost every hope in life and ended up committing suicide. Living as a gay person and artist here in Hong Kong, my feelings go with Sylvia Plath. All I can say is “Don’t ask if I’m happy or not, you know that I’m not, but at best I can say I’m not sad.”
